The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1990. Our mission is to share, promote and advance the best of systems engineering from across the globe for the benefit of humanity and the planet.

The Huntsville Regional Chapter of INCOSE was established in 1996 to foster the definition, understanding and practive of world class systems engineering in industry, academia and government in the region of Huntsville and has four primary objectives:

1.  Promote collaboration in systems engineering practice, education and research;

2.  Assure the establishment of professional standards for integrity in the practice of systems engineering;

3.  Improve the professional status of all persons engaged in the practice of systems engineering; and

4.  Encourage governmental and industrial support and education programs that improve the systems engineering process and its practice.
